Scholarships and Awards
The School of Pharmacy has many awards available to students which are sponsored by pharmaceutical manufacturers, and other companies and individuals.
These awards are granted based on certain criteria. Some awards are given based on financial need, others are based on performance in a specific course or subject area and others are based on student involvement in activities outside the classroom.
Selection of award recipients are determined by the School of Pharmacy Awards Committee.
In those cases where scholarships/awards are based primarily on financial need or student involvement in activities outside the classroom, the Awards Committee asks that students help us in the selection process by providing this information. Students can submit this information online by completing one or both of the surveys below. This information must be submitted on or before June 8, 2012.

In addition, some of our awards require nominations directly from students or faculty/staff. We are currently receiving those applications for 2012. We encourage students to nominate themselves or a fellow student who is deserving of an award by completing the online nomination form: http://app.fluidsurveys.com/surveys/lisa-bishop/pharmacy-student-award-nominations-2012/. These nominations must be received on or before June 8, 2012.
There are several awards that students must apply for with specific criteria. These include: Hapgood and Vey Family Award (for a descendent or spouse of the Canadian Armed Forces or the Royal NL Regiment), Pharmasave Community Services Award, Pharmasave Pharmacy Innovation in Patient Care Award and the Alcohol and Drug Dependency Commission Commerative Award.
