The Ocean Sciences Centre is located a few km North of the city
of St. John's in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador - the
most easterly province in Canada.

Two ferry routes leave North Sydney, Nova Scotia bound for Port
aux Basques or Argentia. The Port aux Basques ferry makes 6 hour
trips twice a day. The Argentia ferry only operates from mid-June
to mid-September and takes 12-14 hours.
