Giving to the LRC

One male and two female students hold IV practice tools in the LRC

As nurses perform interventions for their clients they must be competent and confident in those skills to provide high quality nursing care. The LRC provides a controlled environment where students gain knowledge and skills in their psychomotor nursing interventions.

Your donation to the LRC will assist our staff with our goal of continuing to provide up- to-date facilities and equipment for our students. In order for our students to have ample opportunity to practice we must supply them with mannequins and models during lab and practice sessions. For example, we are proud to report that our students often use the simulated IV insertion arm, central line chest, suture removal arm, and injection pads for practice. These accomplishments are exciting and with your help we can provide new learning opportunities for our students.
