About us
Memorial University School of Nursing established the
Nursing Research Unit (NRU) in 1999 to support nursing
research activities.
The NRU operates in collaboration with all faculty from the School
of Nursing, providing access to teams of researchers with expertise
in specific methodologies and content areas.
The NRU provides research support through consultation services,
clerical support, qualitative and quantitative software programs
and access to resource materials.
Physical resources of the NRU include a large resource room housing
eight separate work stations with high speed internet access, a
sound-proof room with telephone access, and a small library with a
collection of reference books, academic journals, and graduate
student practicum reports.
