Learning Resources & Equipment
Our ability to teach students in a state-of-the-art facility
relies heavily upon our ability to offer modern equipment and
sufficient learning spaces for our students to practice
with.
Learning Resource Centre
The LRC provides practical hands-on training and remains one
of the most important teaching areas that we are able offer to our
students. The centre allows students the ability to practice and
hone a variety of nursing interventions in a controlled
environment. The opportunity to partake in practical education
ensures that the patients of the future will be met by competent
nurses with highly developed skills and a thorough understanding of
patients’ needs.
Medical Equipment & Products
Our equipment is vital to providing practical instruction to
nursing students. Some of the equipment we need to purchase is may
range from hospital beds to IV pumps, multimedia technology to
blood pressure monintors. We are also constantly replacing
one-time-use medical products such as gauze, syringes, bandages and
an assortment of other items.
With your help we can ensure that our laboratories and instructional areas, like the Learning Resource Centre, are able to offer the most up to date equipment and keep our students on the forefront of nursing practices.
