Fiddle master Liz Carroll and guitar
powerhouse John Doyle are among the most respected performers in
Irish music today.
Winner of the Senior All-Ireland Fiddle
Championship at age 18, Liz is a revered performer and composer.
Her tunes have entered into the repertoire of Irish and Celtic
performers throughout the world.
Widely considered the finest guitarist in
Irish music, John is also a noted singer, songwriter and producer.
He has toured, recorded and performed with many Celtic greats and
American bluegrass Grammy winners Tim O’Brien and Alison
Brown.
In 2007, Liz and John performed in Canada, Ireland, England, Scotland, and France. Their album, In Play, was The Irish Times’ pick for one of the best albums of 2005.
