Michelle Cheramy with former teacher Peter Lloyd and good friend Elizabeth Brightbill at the 2007 NFA convention in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Lloyd was honoured with the NFA's Lifetime Achievement Award, and many Lloydites were in attendance to celebrate his contributions to the flute community.

You never know what adventures you will have as a flutist at Memorial! Three members of the flute studio did a concert tour of Labrador, sponsored by the School of Music, in the "spring" of 2009. Here, Courtney Gallant ('09) and Stephen Hynes ('11) board the very small plane!
