Ben Heppner 25th Anniversary Scholarship
This scholarship was established through the generosity of Canadian tenor, Ben Heppner, who donated his fee for a recital given on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the School of Music. Proceeds from the concert were matched by the Opportunity Fund to endow the scholarship. Valued at a portion of the annual interest on the endowment, it will be awarded annually to a student in the Bachelor of Music degree program on the basis of musical and academic excellence. The scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards on the recommendation of the Director, School of Music.
