Hatcher House Helps Close to home
We want to focus a lot on the "someone" part of being kind, making someone feel all warm and fuzzy.
We're going close to home first, where we're going to make a huge card for our proctor to show him how much we appreciate him, with everyone in our house's signature on it.
Next, we're going to do the same, but for the staff of Chartwells, to show them we appreciate their work, and doing things like Munch house for us.

Hatcher House Raises Funds for Breast Cancer
Another event we're starting on that day is something we plan to branch off on the week after as well. October is breast cancer awareness month, so we'll be selling pink ribbons for $1 around our house, the money will go towards breast cancer research. At the same time, we'll have printed off the cancer shaped ribbon so people can write on there the name of someone who has been affected my cancer in there lives, which we will then make a collage of the ribbons and post them in the porch of hatcher house. This will take place on the 21st, but the next week we will be getting in contact with the other houses to see if they would like us to do the same thing in their house.

Helping Our Furry Friends
From May - October I walked/biked/ran 1000 km for Beagle Paws and Heavenly Creatures. Starting on Kindness Friday I will start collecting donations under my cause called "Change for Change". I will be bringing around a sealed piggy bank that people can drop their change into, and each time it is filled I will donate the entirety to Heavenly Creatures and Beagle Paws. I will be continuing this effort until the "Hypothermic Half Marathon" which I will be running in late January in aid of my two beneficiaries.

School of Nursing's Scrambled Kindness
A scrambled list of all faculty and staff names was sent to everyone. Everyone was randomly paired with another employee and encouraged to make a kind gesture to the person that they've been paired with. The kindness can be a greeting, tell them something nice about themselves, give a kindness card, etc.
