Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 12-1:30PM at the Marine Institute Simulator

The Marine Institute's Centre for Marine Simulation (CMS) and the Rabbittown Theatre Company offer a realistic and immersive simulation that will allow you to experience the actions of a World War II corvette as it escorts a convoy across the North Atlantic.

The simulation will allow people to "virtually" sail onboard ships in a convoy in the Battle of the Atlantic. The simulator's 360-degree visibility and full motion will bring the convoy to life as the corvette and crew interact to protect a slow moving convoy.

Take the opportunity to experience first-hand what it was like to take part in the Battle of the Atlantic! Be sure to register soon as there a limited number of spots for this great event.

Transportation
A Marine Institute van will be picking up students in front of R. Gushue Hall leaving 10 - 15 minutes prior to the event. Also SafeDrive vans will be driving people to the MI campus leaving from the University Centre, right outside the Breezeway.
