Undergraduate General Minor
For the Minor in Linguistics at Memorial, you need to take 8 courses:
You must take BOTH of these required courses
- You can take 1103 instead of 2103, and 1104 instead of 2104.
Next, choose AT LEAST TWO of these core electives
- If you choose more than two of the above courses, then choose fewer from the list below.
Next, choose ANY FOUR of these courses
- You can take 1100 instead of 2100, and 1105 instead of 2105.
Courses recommended for potential speech language pathologists: 2210, 3000, 3100, 3104, 3155, 3201, 4150, 4700.
Courses recommended for potential teachers in native and northern schools: 2060 or a course on the structure of an Aboriginal language of Canada (available in the series 1530-2023 or 4050 and 4051).
