$209 for full day (a.m. and p.m. sessions), EXCEPT weeks 1, 2 and 6 ONLY: $169 due to shortened week (Discovery Day, Canada Day and Regatta Day. See schedule, below.
• Morning drop-off time for camps is 8:30 – 9 a.m.
• Afternoon pick-up time is 4:30 – 5 p.m.
• Lunch supervision is provided.
Robotics, Level 1 (Ages 9-12)
If you like LEGO, you’ll love our Robotics class! Using LEGO’s Mindstorm NXT robotics kit, you’ll build a robot, link the robot to a computer and control it with software you’ve written yourself!
Robotics, Level 2 (Ages 9-12)
Robotics Level 1 recommended. Build upon the robotics skills you learned in Level One to learn more advanced skills as you continue to explore the use of sensors and investigate the use of the light sensor. You’ll continue to use problem-solving in your exploration of robotics in a fun team environment!
Junior Engineers I (Ages 9-12)
You'll get a chance to explore the exciting and innovative world of engineering through fun hands-on activities, including constructing and testing tetrahedral kites, and building and racing model boats. As well, look for better ways to do things and explore how Engineering can change our world.
Junior Engineers II (Ages 9-12)
Learn more about the field of engineering by experiencing a place where great provincial Engineers get their start - MUN's Faculty of Engineering. Learn through participating in hands-on projects, demonstrations, and labs.
• Small class size: 15 students maximum.
• Participant-to-instructor ratio is 15:3 (except during lunch hour when it is 15:2).
• Robotics camps will take place in the Education Bldg. Junior Engineers camps will take place in the Engineering Building.
