Join Peter Halley, Shelley Neville, and the talented group of vocalists and actors at Spirit of Newfoundland as they explore the vibrant and creative world of musical theatre.
Week 1: Aug. 6 - 10 (ages 5 - 15)
In this fun-filled week, you will create original musical arrangements, develop musical and acting talents and explore prop and costume creation. End the week by showcasing your talents in a special performance for family and friends!
$259 for full day (a.m. and p.m. sessions)
• Participant-to-instructor ratio 10:1
• Camps take place at Masonic Temple, 6 Cathedral Street
• Morning drop-off time is 8:30 – 9 a.m.
• Afternoon pick-up time is 4:30 – 5 p.m.
• Lunch supervision provided.
Week 2 Master Class: Aug. 13 - 17 (ages 12+)
This week is for students who want a deeper exploration of musical theatre. Requirements: students will have to come prepared with two contrasting musical pieces and two contrasting monologues. If students wish to attend for full day, requirements will be four prepared musical pieces and four monologues. A selection of songs and monologues for students to choose from will be emailed to participants prior to the start of camp.
