A Week of Holidays
Celebrate all of your favorite holiday seasons in a week, including Easter, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Valentines’ Day and Christmas.
Around the World
Learn about and participate in some of the different things people do in other cultures to have fun and stay active!
Artsy Antics
Sure to interest the budding artist, this theme will challenge your imagination with art projects using many tools and mediums, as well as art-inspired games, all designed to take your love of art to the next level!
Boy Zone
Girls Keep Out! This week is for boys only, and it’s packed with activities and much-needed time for boys-only fun. Be prepared to get down and dirty!
Camper’s Choice
We’ll throw a bunch of the games you love (and even a few surprises) in a hat and let campers have their pick throughout the week. This one’s sure to keep both campers and counselors guessing what will come next!
Creative Writing – It’s Not All About Grammar!
Enjoy a week of writing activities that are all about having fun! You’ll imagine, create, and develop unique and interesting written words and images using fun prompts/starters that are sure to inspire you to look at writing in a new and exciting way!
Enviro-Kids
Discover how to protect our planet and become an Enviro-Kid! Learn about one of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle AND composting through fun games and activities with the wacky and wonderful waste experts from MMSB!
Extreme Action
Enjoy hours of action-packed summer fun as you participate in a variety of sports and recreational activities, along with our water game extravaganza.
Girl Power
Enjoy some quality bonding time during this week-long girls-only party that includes making jewelry, designing tye dye fashions, relaxing with mini spa treatments, and participating in all sorts of other girlie fun!
Happy Campers
Have fun with your fellow campers while learning silly camp songs, skits and stories, making yummy camp treats, and participating in a variety of playground games.
Junior Engineers
With this introduction to the field of engineering, you will explore and learn some basic engineering skills and concepts with hands-on experiments and building projects.
Kids@MUN Got Talent
Spend the week discovering the fun and unique talents of your fellow campers as you plan and prepare for Friday’s performance. Express yourself creatively through acting, dancing, singing, storytelling, comedy, or any performance art – you choose! And no need to feel nervous – everyone’s a star!
Kids Biz
Put your creativity and problem-solving skills to the test as we challenge you to invent your own thing-a-ma-jigs and whatcha-ma-call-its while applying the kid-friendly ABC’s of business.
Kids on Campus
Explore the campus of the largest university in Atlantic Canada while participating in a variety of fun learning and recreational activities along the way.
Mad Science
Channel your inner scientist by exploring and experimenting with the many exciting sciences that surround us every day.
Mission to Outer Space
Have you ever wondered about space shuttle missions and life in space? Launch yourself into the universe with your fellow campers and explore the science of space.
Nutty for Nature
Explore the great outdoors through activities, observations, and adventures along the walking trails and parks around camp, including an introduction to Geocaching – an outdoor sporting game of hiding and seeking treasure using a GPS device.
Oh Canada!
Celebrate Canada by playing games, making souvenirs, and participating in lots of activities featuring uniquely Canadian themes! Round out the week with our Kids@MUN summer camp’s very own Newfoundland Day!
Recyclable Art
From trash to treasure – create works of recyclable art that are sure to become instant family treasures and to inspire you to reduce, reuse, and recycle!
Secret Agents
Are you interested in the action and science behind being a secret agent or spy? As a team, we’ll discover the secrets of investigation using techniques and tactics to search for clues, analyze evidence, and solve the case.
Stones and Bones (Johnson GEO Centre)
Become a junior geologist and uncover the secrets hiding in our rocks. Includes fossils and lots of dinosaur fun!
Summer Fun Olympics
Name a sport and there’s probably an Olympic event for it, but with Kids@MUN Olympics you’ll participate in crazy games and relays that challenge you to think and act outside the box!
