CISCO Skool is

1. a great opportunity to learn about networking (LANs, WANs, routers, switches . . . maybe even a "cloud" or two), and
2. a chance to look at the kind of information technology careers that are out there and how to get into them.

and

3. FUN!

CISCO Skool involves lots of hands-on activities and it's led by Rob Ryan, a fantastic instructor with second-to-none qualifications! Check 'em out: M.Ed., CCNA, CCNP, CCAI, MCSE and A+.

Here’s what you’ll be involved with at Cisco Skool:

First, you're going to be introduced to the basic concepts, terminology and technologies required to build a network.

Then, using a hands-on approach, you're going to explore the basic setup and environment of a Cisco router and switch.

While you're doing those two things, Rob is going to tell you about the kind of careers that are available in the information technology field, and what you need to do to get into them.

Throughout all that, something else is going to be happening that you may not even be aware of! You're going to:

• learn what a great experience it can be to work as a team,
• develop your problem-solving skills, and best of all,
• make friends with people like you, who think it's cool to work with computers.
