Sixty-five per cent is the benchmark grade for continuation in the diploma program. A pass must also be awarded for the workterm. Evaluation may include, but not be limited to, any or all of the following: projects, assignments and examinations.

If you obtain a grade of less than 65% in no more than two of the Post-graduate Diploma in Information and Communications Technology courses, you will be given a probationary promotion and will be required to repeat the course(s) in the next semester in which it/they is/are offered.

The foregoing notwithstanding, you will be required to withdraw from the program if you:

  • obtain a final grade of less than 65% in more than two courses,
  • obtain a final grade of less than 65% in a repeated course, or
  • obtain a final grade of less than 50% in any one course.


Pursuant to a mandated withdrawal, you may be considered for re-admission by the Admissions Committee, Division of Lifelong Learning.

Should you withdraw from a Diploma in Information and Communications Technology course without permission, you will be considered to have withdrawn from the program.
