Normally, to be accepted to the Diploma in Information and Communications Technology program, you must have:
- successfully completed a diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution and attained a minimum of 65 per cent on the last 15 courses completed towards that diploma or degree, and
- you must be eligible for admission to Memorial University of Newfoundland
If you are applying to the part-time option, you will also have to
have at least one year of full-time work experience (or
equivalent).
A background in information technology is not a requirement for success in the program. Past participants have come from a wide range of disciplines including education, business, engineering, physics, the arts, and computer sciences to name a few; many have had little or no ICT experience entering the program.
