Did you know that the university supports your development through training and education programs offered by the Division of Lifelong Learning.
All employees of Memorial University are eligible to apply for funding to attend non-credit courses for professional and/or skill development.
A wide variety of professional development classes and/or programs are available through the Division. Examples include (but are not limited to):
• second language training; e.g., French, Spanish, Mandarin and ASL (various starting dates)
• effective leadership (begins Feb. 27);
• mediating workplace conflict (begins Mar. 1);
• motivating employees (begins Feb. 28);
• time management (begins March 5);
• business writing fundamentals (begins March 14);
• change management (begins Feb. 29);
• project management (begins Feb. 1), as well as
• professional designations in payroll and risk management.
The Division also offers you access to a rich selection of online learning resources including:
• eight professional development certificates, and
• more than 300 online courses.
