Mary Cameron
Mary Cameron is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education.
She came to Memorial from Calgary, Alberta where she was employed
as a classroom teacher (in a high tech classroom), a school board
consultant, and a teacher educator at the University of Calgary.
Originally from Prince Edward Island, she holds two degrees from
UPEI, a graduate degree from Memorial University, and is currently
completing her PhD from the University of Calgary. Her research
interests encompass the teaching of mathematics to children and the
nature of mathematics as a living discipline that is transformed
through new technologies. Her CURA research will focus on classroom
use of technology.
