Canadian Studies
This major program of study is designed for students to examine Canada from a wide variety of perspectives. Those who complete the program acquire a broad perspective of the richness and diversity of Canada’s history and people.
Canadian Studies was the first interdisciplinary program offered by the Faculty of Arts. It is offered only as a second Major; students must also complete another Major.
To successfully complete the course, students must have adequate written and oral knowledge of both of Canada's official languages.

What you can become
This program can lead graduates toward a wide range of careers, including teacher, journalist, publisher, politician, civil servant, lawyer, university administrator, private business owner, bank administrator and freelance writer.
