The Go Abroad Coordinator is seeking motivated students to assist Go Abroad programs at Memorial in a variety of capacities.

Go Abroad Volunteer Assistants

Want to help promote international opportunities at MUN?

Whether or not you've have an international study, work, or volunteer experience of your own, you're still eligible to assist the Go Abroad Coordinator as a Go Abroad Volunteer Assistant. The commitment would vary throughout the semester but average on about 2 hours per week. Duties would include helping to promote and spread awareness of the Go Abroad office and the various international opportunities available, helping disseminate posters, promotional materials, and information, and assisting with the Go Abroad Fair, before, during, and after. You may also be asked to help with administrative duties and hosting information sessions, and other sporadic responsibilities.

Go Abroad Ambassadors

Want to take your volunteer commitment a step further?

If you're a student who has participated in a study, work, or volunteer abroad experience and would like to share your experience and guidance with your peers, you can become a Go Abroad Ambassador in addition to being a Go Abroad Volunteer Assistant.

As an Ambassador, you would have the opportunity to help exhibit at fairs and events on behalf of the Go Abroad office or even to promote or spread awareness about the specific program or opportunity you completed. You would also have the chance to help host information sessions and even present to interested students about your experiences.
