Karen Hollett - General CounselKaren R. Hollett is the University’s General Counsel. Ms Hollett assumed the role in April 2008. Prior to that, she had previously served as Director of Faculty Relations and had also served a term as Associate Director of Faculty Relations and Legal Counsel. She is a 1988 graduate of Memorial, and earned a law degree from Dalhousie in 1991, and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 2011. Prior to coming to Memorial she worked with a provincial labour union and in private practice. |

Greg French - Associate General CounselGreg French holds the position of Associate General Counsel. He joined Memorial in March 2006 after having worked in private practice for 8 years. He has a B.Comm. (Hons.) degree from Dalhousie, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick, and a Master of Laws from the University of Toronto. Greg is currently seconded to Student Affairs & Services as Special Project Consultant and will return to the Office of the General Counsel May 1, 2013. |

Denise Collins - Assistant to General CounselDenise Collins is the Assistant to General Counsel. Denise has 25 years of experience working at Memorial. Prior to joining the General Counsel team, she held several positions including Assistant to the Vice-President (Academic), Office of the Vice-President (Academic); Senior Secretary, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Arts; Intermediate Secretary in the Office of the President and the Department of Human Resources. She brings this wealth of University knowledge to her new role. |
