Diversity and intercultural training
Memorial University invites applications from interested staff and faculty for diversity training. Memorial values an inclusive working and learning environment and will fund successful applicants to further engage and be educated in diversity and intercultural issues. There is an expectation to share what is learned with others.
The diversity education fund supports individual learning initiatives, such as courses and conference attendance, and also helps cover the cost of hiring diversity trainers to work with groups of employees. There is a total of $25,000 to be distributed. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12. Complete details are available at www.mun.ca/international/diversity/DiversityEducationFund.php or contact Yvonne Collett at email@example.com.
