Over the past four years Mr. Wells has led the recapitalization of the unit's video production facility, including the implementation of a fully digital, HD compatible facility, chaired a university-wide committee that established a standard for personal response systems (clicker technology), implemented a number of emerging technologies platforms in support of teaching and learning, including blogging and wiki services, and lecture capture facilities.
Mr. Wells holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Computer Science and a M.Ed., Information Technology from Memorial.
"It is truly an honour to lead the dedicated and hardworking staff at DELTS," he said. "I am looking forward to the opportunity."
