The International Centre recently held a photo contest to highlight the international experiences of Memorial students. Presented here are the winning photos. First place: Pat Cahill for a photo of French police blocking a side street as protesters make their way up Avenue Jean Medecin in Nice, France. Second place: Yoones A. Sekhavat, tourists look at handicrafts in Tabriz Bazar, Iran. Third place: Asan Meera Sahib Haja Mohideen, players try to tame a bull. This is a traditional sport famous in Madurai, India. Honourable mention for Andrew Murphy's photo of wildebeest and zebra grazing in the Ngotongoro Crater during their great migration from Masai Mara, Kenya; Beth Seary for a view of the base of the Eiffel Tower from the first level; and Joseph Teo for a shot of an alley in one of the suburbs of Macau, China.
