Dr. Lynda Younghusband, Counselling Centre, presented a poster on Healthy Tips for Students: A pilot project, at CACUSS in Edmonton June 2010. She also presented her research on the study of International Students’ First Year Experiences. Additionally, Dr. Younghusband, Mr Tom Brophy and Ms. Sandy Brennan presented their finding from a survey for all first year MUN students completed last fall.

Dr. Lynda Younghusband, Counselling Centre, and Dr. Glenn Sheppard co-hosted the first annual Ethics Workshop at the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) conference in Charlettown, PEI in May 2010. Dr. Younghusband is Chair of the CCPA Ethics Committee and Dr. Sheppard is a past president of that association.

Drs. Sevtap Savas and Ban Younghusband from Discipline of Genetics at Faculty of Medicine published their work "dbCPCO: A database of genetic markers tested for their predictive and prognostic value in colorectal cancer" in the August-2010 issue of the Human Mutation journal.
