IMPORTANT INFORMATION - TUITION FEES AND CHARGES
Memorial University can be set up as a payee for most major banks so you can pay your student account using telephone or online banking. Payments by this method must be made up to and including Sept. 18, 2013 to avoid the late payment penalty. Further information on the use of this banking system can be obtained from your local branch.
If you are paying your account by Visa or Mastercard, you must do so by accessing the Memorial Self Service link at www.mun.ca. Effective July 1, 2013, The Cashiers/Bursars Office will not accpet credit cards to pay your student account. If you pay your student account online using a credit card, you will be charged a 1.95% convenience fee by Moneris Solutions.
Please note that all payments received after Sept. 18, 2013 will be subject to a Late Payment Penalty.
If you are receiving a Student Loan, the amount of all fees including housing will be deducted from your loan. If you are paying your fees by another method you must do so no later than Aug. 31, 2013. If you pay after this date the amount will be deducted from your loan and you will have to wait to receive the refund for the amount paid by another method. All loans available by Sept. 18, 2013 will not be assessed a late payment penalty if the amount of the loan covers fees outstanding.
Mail payments must be by cheque or money order payable to Memorial University and must be received no later than Sept. 18, 2013 to avoid the late payment penalty. The University cannot accept responsibility for cash sent through the mail.

Undergraduate Students please note:
If you wish to opt out of the Health/Dental plan, you must do so by Sept. 18, 2013. You must submit your proof of alternate coverage on line at www.munsu.ca.
Graduate Students please note:
If you are paying by Payroll Deductions you must do so by Sept. 4, 2013. All deduction forms received after this date will be assessed a late payment penalty. The Payroll Deduction Form and procedures are available on the www.mun.ca/regoff/comtroller/GradStudDedAuth.html Forms can be completed at the School of Graduate Studies, the Cashiers Office Room A1023, mailed to Cashiers Office or faxed to (709) 864-8347.
Health and dental charges for Graduate Students are payable each semester. All questions concerning the Graduate Health/Dental Plans should be directed to The Graduate Student Union Office at 864-4383. For students who have opted out of the health and/or dental plan your opt out will be credited to your account after Sept 25, 2013.
