Dr. Danine Farquharson
-- SSHRC Standard Research Grant winner. Areas of interest include contemporary Irish literature, violence and masculinity and postcolonial studies.

Dr. Valerie Legge -- Memorial University President's Award for Distinguished Teaching. Areas of interest include Canadian women writers, exploration literature, Aboriginal studies.

Dr. Nancy Pedri -- SSHRC Standard Research Grant winner. Areas of interest include photography and fiction, image and text, maps and literature.

Dr. Fiona Polack -- SSHRC Standard Research Grant winner. Areas of interest include postcolonial studies, settler narratives, Newfoundland and Tasmanian literature.

Dr. Ronald Rompkey -- Royal Society of Canada, Officer of the Order of Canada, University Research Professor and Dean's Award for Distinguished Scholar. Areas of research include Newfoundland culture and identity, the French in Newfoundland and Satire.
