Teacher Certification in Canada is a Provincial responsibility. Please note that it is necessary for Memorial education graduates to obtain teacher certification for Newfoundland and Labrador prior to applying for certification in other provinces. The Faculty of Education hosts at least two teacher certification information sessions per year. Ms. Deana Hatcher, Registrar - Teacher Certification, conducts these sessions and reviews the application packages with students.
