
Goals and themes
Edge 2009: Inspiration and Innovation in Teaching and Teacher Education will explore how teaching and teacher education are conceptualized and constructed. The program is intended to be broad, encompassing both K-12 and post-secondary education, and aims to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of issues and ideas relating to pre-service teacher education and internship programs, teacher/instructor certification, Aboriginal teacher education and continuing education of teachers, college instructors and university professors.
Submissions are welcome in the following areas. Note that these topics are indicative only -- we encourage any submission that relates to the general theme of the conference.
