Return from Harlow to St. John's: August 10, 2015. Students can make arragements to return later if desired.
There are no prerequisites, and students from a wide range of backgrounds in the Arts (Folklore, Archaeology, English, History, Geography, Linguistics, Medieval Studies, Political Science, Sociology) have taken the program. Students from the Sciences (Biology, Psychology, Nursing, Computer Sciences) as well as Business and Human Kinetics have also participated. The instructors assume that most students will have had little background experience with the program topics, and, thus, all students are welcome.
Students who wish to participate in the program must complete an application form which can either be downloaded from this site or obtained from Jerry Pocius (864-8366 or email@example.com). The deadline for applications is November 21, 2014. Students accepted for the program will be required to pay a $300 non-refundable deposit by December 5, 2014.
Tuition fees for courses: Paid to Memorial University as usual.
Program fee: The program fee for the English Cultural Landscape programme is $4400, which includes the initial deposit of $300. The balance of the program fee ($4100) is due the first day of classes, May 11, 2015. This program fee covers return airfare, transfers to and from Heathrow Airport to Harlow, six weeks accommodation at Harlow, five weekly evening meals, approximately twenty field trips, entrance fees for the field trips, lunches on field trips and a Student Rail Card.
