X-Ray Crystallography
The XRD lab contains a new AFC8-Saturn 70 single crystal x-ray diffractometer from Rigaku/MSC, equipped with an X-stream 2000 low temperature system, a choice of collimators including a 0.3mm capillary collimator and Crystalclear software for data collection and processing. The instrument is run by trained users and staff crystallographers with routine service including crystal selection and mounting, data collection, and structure solution and refinement. Publication ready reports and graphics are produced for all successful structural determinations utilizing Crystalstructure software by Rigaku/MSC which is available on several workstations for structure solution and refinement.
