The Student Wellness and Counseling Centre offers free and anonymous online screening for depression, alcohol use, eating disorders, and anxiety. The online screenings are informational, not diagnostic, and treatment recommendations are not provided.
The information completed in the screening itself is for your eyes only. Information from your screening is not sent to the SWCC or any other University entity. You may find it helpful to print off your screening results to share with a counsellor; however, you are under no obligation to share this information with anyone.
Online screening is made available so that MUN students may find out whether consultation with a SWCC counsellor may be helpful.
Should you decide you would like to speak to a counsellor about your screening results, and are a currently registered student, please call (709) 864-8500 (Option #2) for an appointment. If you have an urgent need, the SWCC has an on-call therapist, Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM.
