iPhone Support

C&C will provide support on university owned devices and/or affiliated services, such as Exchange email and campus wireless access. C&C will also work with the mobile service provider on support issues related to cellular access.

All iPhone hardware and software support is done through Apple. As well, iPhone app support is provided by Apple or through the third-party app developers. More information is available on hardware, software, and app support through Apples support website.

The iPhone comes with a one-year basic warranty that covers:

  • hardware defects
  • a single support call within the first 90 days of ownership

The basic warranty does not cover software issues beyond the first 90 days of ownership, battery depletion, cosmetic damage, or damage due to accidents or modification. Additional information is available on the iPhone Warranty webpage.

Apple also provides additional support options for the iPhone through their AppleCare Protection Plan, which can be requested when purchasing the iPhone. AppleCare is a two-year warranty that covers:

  • hardware defects
  • software issues
  • technical support
  • 50% battery depletion
