Upgrade Project
Computing & Communications would like to notify the university community that Microsoft has announced that as of April 2014, they will no longer support the Windows XP operating system. This means that Microsoft will no longer send security updates and this will pose a security risk to both you and Memorial. Consequently, as of Dec. 31, 2013, Computing & Communications will no longer be able to provide assistance for Windows XP, other than to upgrade your computer.
To help prepare departments currently using computers with this older operating system, we will begin helping departments identify and transition from Windows XP in the coming months. Please visit the timeline page to see when your department will be contacted to begin the upgrade.
