Scheduled Service Disruption - System Maintenance - VoIP Phone System

Computing and Communications (C&C) is currently working with Cisco, its VoIP phone vendor , to resolve issues reported earlier today affecting the phone system on the St. John's campus. In order to accommodate necessary system maintenance clients can expect a service disruption affecting the phone system from 11:30 p.m. on October 24 until 2:00 a.m. on October 25. Updates regarding this issue will be posted here.

Update: October 25th

Computing and Communications (C&C) is reporting that service issues reported yesterday affecting the VoIP phone system on the St. John's campus have been resolved and that the system is now functioning normally. As a result of last night's maintenance, VoIP phones across campus would have been restarted. Clients may notice that call history and call forward settings may be reset to default as a result of the restart. As always, clients are encouraged to contact the C&C Service Desk at 864-4595 or help@mun.ca for VoIP phone or any computer related issues.
