Sony has announced that accounts on their Playstation Network and Qriocity services have been compromised. Disclosed details include name, physical address, email address, birthdate, and Playstation/Qriocity username and password. Sony has also indicated that credit card numbers may have been compromised.
C&C reminds users to use different passwords for their work and personal accounts. Playstation Network and Qriocity users should change those passwords, and change their MUN, banking, etc, ones as well if they were previously the same. If you have used credit cards with these services be aware of possible fraud and consult your financial institution for ways to mitigate this risk.
