C&C Service Improvement - Offered Remote Assistance
The Department of Computing and Communications is pleased to announce that we are introducing a service improvement for Memorial Domain users. As of May 18, 2011 C&C will be offering a remote assistance support option for some common computer related problems. Offered Remote Assistance will allow C&C staff to connect to client PC's and provide technical support that may otherwise have required an office visit. As an extension of our traditional phone, email and counter support, we feel that remote assistance will allow us to provide an increased level of support to our clients as well as an overall faster turnaround time for solving IT related questions and problems. As with all new services, we expect clients may have questions regarding these changes. With that in mind the following webpage:
has been created to document the process as well as present answers to some anticipated questions. Clients are welcome to visit the site in order to become acquainted with how remote assistance will work.
