Steps to reconnecting your Apple Mobile Device to MUN Wireless

Please note, part of these instructions require you to know your MUN Wireless password.  This password is not the same as your MUN Login Password.  If you do not know your MUN Wireless password please go here:

www.mun.ca/cc/forms

and click on the DAT form and proceed to reset that password.

Steps to getting reconnected:

1. Tap "Settings" on main screen.

2. Tap "Wi-Fi".

3. Tap the "ON" indicator on the Wi-Fi section to turn Wi-Fi "OFF".

4. Tap the "OFF" indicator on the Wi-Fi section to turn Wi-Fi "ON".

5. Press the Circle/Square button to return to main screen.

6. Confirm that internet connection has been restored via browser.

If you've got a connection, you're done.  If not, proceed to step 7 below

7. Tap "Settings" again which should return you to the Wi-Fi section.

8. Look for the appropriate SSID (fac, stu or guest)

9. Tap the blue ">" to the right of the SSID.

10. Tap the "Forget this Network" button at the top of screen.

11. Tap the red "Forget" button that appears at the bottom of screen.

12. Tap the "Wi-Fi" button in the upper left corner of screen.

13. Tap the appropriate SSID (fac, stu or guest) and a username and password prompt will appear.

14. Enter username and password and click the "Join" button in the upper right hand region of screen.

15. A check mark should be in front of the appropriate SSID (fac, stu or guest).

16. Press the Circle/Square button to return to main screen.

17. Confirm that internet connection has been restored via browser.

18. If you find that  password is being rejected, try again very carefully.

19. Having password issues? Find a computer with an active internet connection, go to www.mun.ca/cc/forms and click on the DAT form and proceed to reset your MUN Wireless password
