Go ‘conservatively wild’ every weekend at the Bowring Park Conservatory this winter and let MUN Botanical Garden education staff introduce you to some of the creatures living amongst the orchids and other tropical plants in the conservatory.

Meet Charlie the newt, Squirt the turtle, walking stick insects, tropical fish and more.  Learn all about their far-away native habitats and find out why some of these tropical visitors don’t always make good pets.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is not required.  Everyone is welcome.

Admission fees:
Adults (18+): $4.00
Seniors (60+): $3.00
Students and children (4 – 17): $2.00

All proceeds help support the Bowring Park Foundation and MUN Botanical Garden.  For more information, please contact Anne Madden, education coordinator, e-mail amadden[at]mun.ca.
