SFMN Project HOME

Welcome to the Website for the SFMN State of Knowledge Project on the Role of Protected Areas in Sustainable Forest Management

This website is an electronic forum for an 18 month project, funded by the Sustainable Forest Management Network, which is synthesizing the state of knowledge on the role of protected areas in sustainable forest management. Parts of this site are open for public access, and parts are for research team and partner access.

Given that this project involves research and participants from across Canada, the website provides a forum for communication between research team members, between the research team and partners, and to the wider public.

Please note that this project has officially wrapped up and this portion of my site is no longer being updated. The final report is published on the Sustainable Forest Management Network site (links below). I am leaving the site up as is, for those who wish to access the online data base or workshop notes.
