Admission

Successful applicants for the M.Sc. programs in biology and marine biology normally hold a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in biology with at least high second-class standing (or equivalent). PhD applicants should hold an appropriate M.Sc. degree (or equivalent).

A qualified applicant is accepted into the graduate program in biology provided that adequate financial support is available and a faculty member has agreed to supervise. Prospective students are therefore encouraged to correspond directly with the faculty members with whom they wish to work.

Applications may be submitted either electronically or by regular post. General information on Memorial University graduate programs is available on the Office of Graduate Studies web page. Also useful is this site for application forms and further useful links including fees.
