Why Maritime Management at Memorial?

The Master of Maritime Management (MMM) program will build your potential to become a leader in the global marine industry. This program will provide you with a broad understanding of the structure and operation of organizations and the factors that influence business decisions in the context of maritime-based organizations. The MMM program opens further opportunities for you, as a marine professional, to advance in your career. This program is the first of its kind in Canada and it is available completely online.

Description of programs

The Master of Maritime Management program is offered online and requires successful completion of either:

24 credit hours of course work and a comprehensive project and report (6 credit hours); or
30 credit hours of course work.

Course work includes specialized maritime-management courses and courses from the Faculty of Business Administration. Candidates will typically register on a part-time basis, but any who register for full time study may complete the program in three semesters.

Minimum admission requirements

Bachelor's degree (second class) in an appropriate area of study
Applicants must also have an undergraduate degree with appropriate maritime and business management courses.
A minimum of two years related employment experience is also normally required.
