The following represents minimum admission requirements for our graduate diploma, master’s, and PhD programs for both Canadian and international applicants.
Graduate diploma and master’s applicants: The normal requirement for admission to a graduate diploma or master’s program at Memorial University is a bachelor’s degree of second-class standing or equivalent from a recognized university, in an appropriate area of study. Certain master’s programs have additional requirements including prerequisites, standardized test scores (e.g., GRE, GMAT), and work experience. All graduate applicants are required to fulfill Memorial’s English proficiency requirement for graduate applicants.
