Author! Author! 2010-11
The Faculty of Arts will recognize the achievement of scholars who published books during the 2010-2011 academic year with a special reception on February 15, 2012.
The publication of a book is often the culmination of many years of sustained research or concentrated creative energy, and this fourth annual event acknowledged the significant achievement of those who wrote or compiled/edited a volume. In the last three years, many of our esteemed colleague in the Faculty of Arts have published important scholarly contributions and creative works. Over 75 books have been recognized at the Author! Author! receptions. We encourage you to browse some of the links on this page.
As a pilot project, this year the Dean of Arts office is soliciting submissions of e-works for the 2012 Author! Author! reception. E-works can comprise, but are not limited to: CDs, website and other non-print forms of media. For further information contact cdyck@mun.ca.
