After I completed my undergraduate degree, I moved to Ireland where I worked for 10 years in the commercial archaeology sector. My employment combined both on site work (survey, monitoring, testing & excavation) as well as post-excavation management. Working in Ireland gave me experience in a variety of sites types that ranged in date from the Mesolithic through to post-medieval.
