Leadership Certificates

IMPACT

Social Innovation and Leadership Certificate

The IMPACT: Social Innovation and Leadership Certificate engages students who are interested in learning how to encourage positive social change in the world.

A student pursuing IMPACT should be interested in developing the knowledge and skills key to effective leadership and applying these tools in the real world, both within the scope of the program and beyond. The student must necessarily be self-motivated, have the drive to grow their own leadership capacity and take ownership of their own progress.

IMPACT requires participants to:
❏ attend skills sessions (presentations and workshops) on leadership themes to acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills.
❏ elaborate a personal development plan to set individual goals, choose methods and mark progress.
❏ work in a group to take action, i.e. complete a team project over the course of several weeks to produce a real example of social change.

The program is now accepting applications. For more information, visit http://www.mun.ca/leadership/impact.php.
