Graduate Students and Alumni

Fall 2021 Course Overview

During the Fall 2021 semester, FUSION is partnering with the School of Graduate Studies and Office of Alumni Engagement to offer Memorial graduate students and recent alumni the opportunity to participate in the FUSION Skills Development Curriculum.

The curriculum consists of a self-directed, ten-hour online course which is offered through Brightspace, Memorial’s online learning management system. In addition to the curriculum, participants will have an opportunity to attend three optional one-hour workshops that focus on assisting participants' plans for their future careers. An emphasis will be placed on helping participants identify their skills and strengths, and how to articulate these strengths and skills to potential employers.

The overall goal of the course is to foster communication, problem-solving and metacognitive skills, and help articulte these skills as participants seek to move their careers forward within our rapidly evolving economy.

Start Date

The course will start on November 1, 2021, and finish on November 30, 2021. While the course has a suggested schedule to help participants plan their completion, the course is self-directed and offers participants flexibility to work through the course modules.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must either be a current Memorial graduate student (registered as a full-time or part-time student during the Fall 2021 semester) or an alumni of Memorial who has graduated within the last three years (2019-2021)
