Memorial University is one of the largest universities in Atlantic Canada, offering more than 100 degree programs to a student population of almost 19,000.
The largest of four campuses is located in Newfoundland and Labrador’s capital city, St. John’s. On the St. John’s campus you’ll find state-of-the-art facilities and first-rate services. The Works offers you the provinces most comprehensive recreation package at a decent price; while at the Queen Elizabeth II Library you’ll find the best library holdings in Atlantic Canada.
If you plan on living on-campus you’ll find that our residence facilities provide a safe environment that promotes academic success and provides an abundance of social, recreational, and educational learning opportunities.
New iBA program
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has launched an all-new degree program designed to prepare students for a future as global citizens. The international bachelor of arts (iBA) has been designed to encourage and recognize the study of peoples and institutions that transcend borders and aligns with Memorial University’s efforts to encourage global experiences and international perspectives. Further details on the iBA degree program can be found on the faculty of humanities and social sciences website.
