A project team was established by the Destination Excellence Implementation Steering Team (DEIST) to develop a balanced scorecard. The scorecard would track and monitor metrics that were developed to measure success regarding implementation of the strategic plan. Data collected for the balanced scorecard was used to produce the Faculty of Medicine’s inaugural Annual Metrics Report.

The Annual Metrics Report organizes the data to align with the four pillars of Destination Excellence - Enduring Legacy, Empowered People, Excellence in All We Do and Improving Lives. The report details performance metrics that are measurable and indicative of strategic goals. The metrics captured may change over time to ensure continued alignment with strategic objectives.
